Credits required for graduation from the Department: 128, including:
- GE core courses: required, 18 credits
- GE liberal arts education: elective, 10 credits
- Physical Education: required, 0 credits
- College-required courses: 3 credits (including 1 college-level cornerstone courses)
- Department-required courses: 66 credits, including academic + practical courses 8 credits, academic courses 49 credits, practical courses 8 credits, and capstone courses 1 credits
- Departmental electives: 11 credits
(a) Academic courses: 5 credits; taking 5 credits out of 87 credits
(b) Practical courses: 6 credits; taking 6 credits out of 97 credits; at least 2 credits from off-campus internship - Other electives: 20 credits

- Students are required to meet the requirements set by the Department for “English Proficiency,” in addition to earning the required number of credits to be eligible for graduation.
- Before graduation, students are required to take at least one required cornerstone course offered by another college. The credits earned from such courses may be recognized as part of the credits under the category of Liberal Arts Education, but only a maximum of four credits will be recognized accordingly. (3) Other electives: 6 credits (6 credits from other programs may be recognized with approval from the Program) - Thesis: required courses without credits (capstone courses)
Notes:
Students are required to take at least 7 credits of elective courses offered by the BME department. Courses offered by other departments will be recognized by the BME department. Students without taking Physiology or related subjects before should take at least a 3-credit course related to Physiology. Further, such course must be recognized by the department and does not count for graduation credits.
